I've honestly had little time to flesh out my newest adopted pony. Burnetta Silverplate is my adorable little girl who I have yet to draw for myself. I hadn't even had time to establish her character. I'm going to correct that mistake here and now. Especially since I submitted her as a character I wanted to be drawn for the Secret Santa event within .
Burnetta Silverplate is sort of a mix between Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash in personality.
Personality:
Burnetta is a hyperactive, excitable, and quirky girl who adores comics and competition. A lot of who she is was based on her favorite comic book Storm, The Devil Pony. She loves to party, participate in sports, listen to music, watch movies, and especially role-play. She idolized heroes to the point of practically becoming a living comic character. Her mannerisms mimic a culmination of various heroic figures, except during her frequent "geek out" moments.
She also has a competitive side to her that usually only shows itself when she is in sports or role-playing. Her focus narrows to an extremely focused point where she can often surprise ponies around her with her intensity. In sports, this manifests as dramatic tactics that sometimes work but other times leave her a t a disadvantage. In role-play, this manifests as perfect portrayal of her character or acting so intense that it causes others to feel intimidated or inferior. She then has to break the act to apologize.
Backstory:
Burnetta was born from a Metalsi Father and an Earth Pony Mother a few months to about 2 years after the Metalsi Curse spread through the Kingdom. She was named due to the bright red of her sheen of her fur. Burnetta was different from most of the Metalsi colts and phillies that she met growing up. She was faster, more flexible, and was able to swim with relative ease despite the metal in her body. This lead her to believe that she may have super powers or untapped potential within her. Thus her love for super heroes and comic books was born!
Day in and Day out, Burnetta researched super heroes and historical heroes of the past and present as well as the inner workings of super powers and the effects they have on the environment, psyche, and bodies of the the ponies that used them. She got involved in sports to test herself to see if she had powers but ultimately found out she didn't have any. Though even with this crushing disappointment, she was relatively happy with the fact that she was different from everyone else and could do a few things better than most of the ponies her age and size. She still continued to push herself to be the best she could be and many respected her for her efforts. An to an extent some believed that her "super power" was sheer determination.
Late in middle school, she started her own club dedicated to super hero nerds and role-players. Because of her reasonable popularity as a student athlete and her cartoony personality, her club gained many followers. In high school, her club grew to become so large that it gathered enough money to make a float during the annual Guardian Celebration Parade earning her and her club credibility. She even continued to be a student athlete and won a first place prize in High School Fencing and a 3rd place metal a school Triathlon.
Her favorite comic was the story of Storm, The Devil Pony inspired by the history of Storm Azrael before becoming the apprentice of Guardian Dark Wing. She loved it so much that she adopted a similar hair style to him and frequently role-plays being his apprentice or being related to him in some way. Her dream of meeting him partially came true one day when she was on her way to a club meeting. One afternoon she caught Azrael rushing out of a local blacksmith's shop and back to his post defending the world from stray meteors. He moved too fast for her to speak to him, but for a split second, he made eye contact with her and smiled. That moment her heart practically melted.
Today she is still the active president of the Secret Office of Superponies (S.O.S.) Club and pursues a career in writing super hero stories or acting in movies.

And so the day has come...
Just wanted to say thanks to all my friends and followers for your support and encouragement. The day has come and I will be leaving to go to basic training today. Well technically tomorrow is the day I actually leave to MEPS, but today I will be leaving my home to spend the night at a hotel before going to MEPS.
Basic Training will be 9 weeks long, so you can expect me back after that time has passed.
Thanks again and be blessed.
Countdown to Departure: 8 Days
Hello everyone,
I have to let you guys know that I will be officially resigning from my current job to enter the military. I'll be joining the US Army and will be shipping out to Basic Training on January 16th. I'll be in Basic training for a total of 9 weeks.
Afterward, I'll be shipped to A.I.T. (Advanced Individual Training) to learn how to do my job. That will last for a total of 10 weeks. Once I graduate from A.I.T, I'll be sent to my First Duty Station where I will work for a great length of time.
I'm very excited to finally have the chance to re-enter the military but I will also miss the new connections and people I've met both onli
